Updates might be a bit sporadic for a bit as I’m scrambling to throw together some sort of decently professional-looking portfolio site, forcing me to unravel the mysteries of CSS.

I’d be more than happy to help you with CSS.
Um… is it actually hard to lie in Ilthmiri, or is that a throwaway line / obscure reference? Seems to me lying would be something they do a lot of in Ilthmir…
Minivet: I am inclined as well to take issue with RMG’s title. It seems to me that it should be no more or less possible to lie in any language at all. Ilthmir may have strong cultural taboos against getting caught lying, of course, as did for example ancient Norse cultures. People lied — but it was worth a blood feud to get caught at it.
Ilthmiri is a language which can reveal a lot about the intentions of its speaker. To somebody who has been speaking Ilthmiri their whole life, this isn’t an issue since they’re used to it, but Prime Minister Tanith-Schneider, despite being fluent, isn’t a native speaker, making it a bit hard for her to put one over on the queen who is like 600 years old.
I suppose the title could have made it a little bit more clear I was referring to the Prime Minister speaking Ilthmiri as a third or fourth language, learned as an adult, but oh well.
I got it, actually.
I would love to see essays about the different languages and how the literature inter-relates, but I’m a geek like that.
Also Kana is adorable in the last two panels!
How does that work? Did the PM screw up her evidentials?
News Flash:
A brilliant and erudite comic that I thought had died and mourned quite deeply has apparently come back to life. Go read Sea of Insanity from the beginning.
Argh, the link above ought to be http://fractuslux.comicgenesis.com and the comic’s title is “Sea of Insanity”. I screwed up the link somehow and cannot edit it; apologies.
Superb city-scape.
I just love both parts of this page. Both the politics at the top and and the sweet kiss at the bottom.
