If you’re flying on a Chartannian line, you have to dress up to go on the airship. Chartannian crews can and will turf out the shabbily dressed. Kiyohara is rather proud that at one point in the ’70s she managed to get onto a Chartannian airship dressed entirely in things she bought at the airport.
Anyway, there’s more fan-art! Sulevis drew Takako dressed in Jedi robes. If Takako were born on Earth rather than Erda, I’m pretty sure she would have dressed up like this as she waited in line for Episode III.
And she mentions that just as Cassie has gone off to deal with another vampire victim. What timing!
