Jane Eyre is one of the best books ever, and I’ve always wanted to draw a scene from it. This is from when Jane meets Mr. Rochester for the first time on the road to Hay, and Mr. Rochester falls off his horse. I decided to show the bit where Mr. Rochester leans on Jane to get to his horse, since it was both a memorable image and one I could show without having to actually draw Mr. Rochester’s horse.
I should have at least put the dog in, though. Oh well.
