If Takako is anything like Silth, and she does resemble Silth a fair amount, she’s blushing not because she’s attracted to Kei but because she’s embarrassed and annoyed that she has to disillusion yet another lesbian suitor. ;-) And maybe because she’s had too much gin.

She’s blushing so much because she’s drunk – one of the earlier comics mentioned that she has a poor tolerance to alcohol causing that.
Frankly, I’m having a hard time reading this because I get all the characters mixed up with previous incarnations of themselves, and then I get confused. : (
Cause, really, Takako? Short, obnoxious, ex-soldier, AI researcher, half elf, Ithmiri mom. Silth? Pretty much the same thing. It’s hard to keep things separated
